• Medical benefits- the employer pays for reasonable medical care needed to treat work-related injuries. 
• Temporary total disability (ttd) is money paid on a weekly basis to people who are temporarily unable to work due to their injury and/or money paid on a weekly basis to people who are training for a new vocation.
• Permanent partial disability (ppd) is paid to people who have lasting physical impairments due to their injury.
• Permanent total disability (ptd) is paid to people who are unable to return to meaningful employment due to their work-related injury.
